Hi! My name is Caroline Begg, but I go by Cee (just like the letter) for short. I am 15 years old, and will turn 16 on July 27th. I have lived in Trumbull, CT my entire life (for those of you who are not from the area, it is about 80 minnutes from New York City). I attend The Academy of Our Lady of Mercy Lauralton Hall (Lauralton for short). Lauralton is an all-girls Catholic school located in Milford, CT. I live with my mom, dad, and my two dogs, Bailey (a nine year old Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab Mix) and Scout (a 10 week old Beagle/Lab Mix). I also have an older sister, Kay, but she goes to college in Texas at SMU.
Outside of school, I am involved in many activities. I am an officer on my school's Engineering Team, which is Connecticut's first and only all-girls high school engineering team. We compete in the Sikorsky STEM Challenge against other high schools in the area, and have won first prize the last two years. I also love to travel, read, and bake. My favorite places that I've been are Edinburgh, Scotland, and Positano, Italy. My favorite books are Emma by Jane Austen (partially because Clueless is one of my favorite movies) and the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. My favorite thing to bake is chocolate chip scones. In addition, I am also a competitive swimmer and sailor. I have been swimming competitively since I was 5 years old, and have been sailing since I was 10. My other interests include politics, fashion, and economics. I am very passionate about enviromental protection and am very interested in learning (and combating) the harmful effects (both enviromental and humanitarian) of fast fashion.
